Hello everyone
from about the end of February I've had a lot of swelling in the right hand side of my groin and pubis area. I went to the fixture and they examined me and said I have a small raised lymph nose but made me wait 6 weeks for a referral.
Time went on and the swelling was getting bigger and I noticed stabbing pains and throbbing. This also started on the left hand side. Once I got my referral I went private for this issue. The consultant advised me that he wanted to do an ultrasound of my groin and hip area where the swelling was.
I have had my ultrasound today and the sonographer advised me that I have numerous golf ball sizes lymph nodes on my right hand side and some on the left that are much smaller.
i mentioned lymphoma as I am terrified of this as I have been having night sweats and terrible fatigue lately! I do have multiple sclerosis but I have never suffered fatigue to this degree before.
he said it could be an infection which I am not aware I have one and he doesn't think it's lymphoma but the consultant will do the relevant tests.
im so scared! I've had nothing but the worst 6 months after losing my twin boys at 22.5 weeks and having a huge relapse of my ms which took away my ability to walk. I'm slowly recovering but I can't take any more awful news!
any help/ advice would be much appreciated!
thank you so much!
