CT scan with contrast tomorrow. Worried growth will be found

So I have been posting about a tubulovillous adenoma which has been found at D2/D3 of my duodenum.  An opinion on its' removal is being sought from a consultant in Scotland.. I have to have a CT scan with contrast tomorrow.  It is frightening.  I am wondering what will happen if the duodenal growth is found to be the secondary etc.  Can anyone help?

  • Hi Celticlass,

I'm sorry you haven't received a reply up until now. I hope things went OK at your appointment and that you were able to ask your question to the specialist.

If you feel you'd like to talk things through with one of our nurses at all, you can reach them on 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9-5.

Hopefully it won't be too long to wait before you're able to find out more.

    Wishing you all the best,

  • Thank you Ben.  I am managing to cope.  It is just time is passing here too! Soon be 2 months since the first endoscopy! The CT scan process, for me, was quite easy.  All over and done with very quickly.  Thanks again.
