Lumps on head, head aches and collapsing

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help me with some symptoms my Sisters has. 
 

About 6 months ago my Sister noticed a lump on the back of her head, since 3 more have appeared. Each are painful to touch. The other symptoms are headache and yesterday she collapsed. She was awake and she is absolutely sure that she did not trip.

She is going for a scan on Thursday, after a month's wait, but I'm at a loss as to why the 2 week rule was not taken into account. 
 

I'm very scared that this cancer, has anyone experienced similar?

    I'm sorry to hear of the issues your sister is experiencing and also that you haven't received a reply up until now.

    I see that the scan is tomorrow so I hope that things go OK.

    Any urgent issues do of course discuss these with her doctor/specialist, or if you just want someone to talk to for general advice, then our nurses are available on 0808 800 4040 (Monday-Friday, 9-5).

    Thank you Ben. Scan tomorrow at 8am, I'm not sure what she will go through. I know the day I was told it was back to back consultation, scan, ultrasound and confirmation. She is on her own and I'm so concerned for her as the relief or acknowledgment will be considerable.
