Hpv positive abnormal cells with no symptoms at first

Good morning all, seeking some gentle reassurance and advice please! So I've an appointment booked for a colposcopy after testing positive for hpv with abnormal cells, I haven't had any symptoms so haven't been too worried however I have now started bleeding after sex which has increased my concerns somewhat! Am I worrying unnecessarily?? My appointment isn't until the 1st June x

    I had this result on Wednesday, the clinic phoned with a cancellation so I'm in on Tues I'm so worried my smear result letter didn't say what grade cin I was just that I'm high risk hpv and abnormal cells. Did your later grade yours? X

    Hi there it is really worrying isn't it! They graded mine as low grade abnormal cells so hadn't worried too much but now with the bleeding g it's heightened my anxiety, I hope Tuesday goes well for you, they said mine was an urgent appointment but not till 1st June xx I just want it over xx

    Hey, I'm 25 and just had the results of my first cervical screening test. HPV positive and low grade abnormal cells. I have been slightly bleeding after sex for over a year, only small amounts, I had put it down to my other half being quite rough but ever since my results came in I've been pretty anxious aswell. I also have 3 kids, the youngest being just 5 months old. I haven't received my date for the colposcopy but I'm very concerned. 
    I did go to the doctor about my abnormal vaginal bleeding after sex and she said it was probably because my partner was rough, but I haven't had it since he started being softer. I guess sitting around waiting and not knowing is just the worst.
