lymphoma?

Hi All x

I'm finding my Google searches are all bringing me back to these type of pages and forums. Wanted to say Hi, hope your all well and wish you a speedy and healthy recovery xx

2 months ago I was just a normal 38 year old single mum getting sick and tired of this lockdown while homeschool my 2 children.

a few months before I was starting to feel extremely exhausted and tired all the time, finding it hard to stay awake or concentrate... in March I noticed alot of hair loss (clumps of hair) I went to the doctors who did full bloods which came back like a car crash  autoimmune disease, very low iron underactive thyroid low vitamins thalassemia all sorts..I started med end of March.

in April my hair loss continue to a point I had lost about 60% of my hair. revisted the Docs who referred me to a rheumatologist for maybe Lupas. Rheumatologist said Lupas test is negative and have referred me to Endocrinology (appt is 17/05) I have alos been referred to a dermatologist because of my hair (awaiting appt)

Since then I've been taken into hospital once with breathing/chest tightness. I've lost nearly 80% of my hair, I HAVE A LUMP on my neck its a swollen supraclavicular node I've had this for 2months, each doctors said it swollen because your not well it will go away. this has grown and is visible when looking at my neck it is still moves and is 'squidgy' but firmer then before. I've got really itchy legs face and neck. Still extremely tired and alot of weakness in my legs.. Ive lost abit of weight but still have a puffy face and neck. no night sweats or fever. I've been back to the GP who has send me for a urgent appt for the lump possibly looking at lymphoma. This was 2 days ago. Has anyone had or experienced anything like this?

apart from that im fine :)

  • Welcome to the forum SNA01 although I'm sorry for what's been going on and what's been found in some of your test results. It sounds like you've had a lot to contend with.

Hopefully some of our members who have had similar symptoms will get back to you soon but in the meantime I just wanted to let you know we're thinking of you and wishing you all the best with your upcoming referrals.

We'll have our fingers crossed for good news when the time comes.

    Kind regards,
