Leukaemia worry - 21 years old

Hi,

im a 21 year old female and suspect I have leukaemia. I have been suffering from Petechiae on my chest a couple of times, suffered intense night sweats at my boyfriend's house a couple of nights ago and always sweat during my sleep anyway. I've also been bruising on my legs and had EXTREMELY achy leg muscles and been sleeping a lot the past few days. I've been fatigued. I can't see what else these symptoms would be from. 
 

I went for blood tests a couple of days ago and am dreading the results, I already know it's bad news. I can't stop crying and the thought of not being able to spend years with my boyfriend is breaking my heart. Please can someone offer me some reassurance. I can't deal with this.

    Dear Sophiej,

    The more you're worrying the worse your symptoms will become so no wonder you're feeling exhausted & achey. Wait until the blood results come back.

    If it is what you're dreading, & that's a very big if, lots of leukaemia in your age group is very treatable so you & your boyfriend will just tackle it full on. You'll be amazed how strong you are xx

    Hi [@DancingDeer] , Thanks for replying and your kind words. I’ve noticed these symptoms for a while and weirdly enough before I even thought it was leukaemia, I started to feel intensely fatigued and had the petechaie. That’s when I googled it and suddenly realised. I’m so so scared for my results and already know it’s what I’m fearing. I’m scared I’m going to die :( x

    Dr Google is just the worst. 

    It can be many things causing these symptoms.... good you've had blood tests but it certainly does not mean you have leukaemia & that you are going to die.

    Stop googling!  Maybe stop hanging around cancer chat! Wait for your results (hopefully soon?) but just stop focusing on this meantime. Worrying is just time wasted.... easy to say I know.
