Hi folks. I have had problems with constipation and bloating etc for several years however for the last 2 years when I go to the toilet a lump is coming out my back passage. I never feel like I fully empty my bowels and I have a constant feeling of something in my back passage. Stupidly I was too embarrassed to go to the doctor.  Anyway I finalIy did and she did a rectal exam and started to ask me lots of questions. She then told me she had felt something in my back passage which she was fairly certain wasn't piles or a prolapse and she has referred me urgently to a colorectal surgeon and said I will get seen within 2 weeks. I also had bloods done which I have to have repeated due to there showing a lower than normal blood count, B12 and folate levels. I am really worried although don't know if I am worrying over nothing? I don't feel ill apart from the lump and I feel bloated constantly. I also feel a bit of a weird pressure on my bladder. Has anyone had similar symptoms and if so what was it? Your replies would be really appreciated. Thanks.
