Dimpling on breast & something shown up at clinic. Scared

Hello , hope you can offer some advice I have noticed some dimpling in one of my breasts and have breast cancer in family .

I went for an appointment at the clinic and they did an assessment  mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy and put a marker in all in first appointment  , all I have been told is something has shown up .

I feel very anxious and thinking the worst . I really need some support and overthinking everything!

Because I had all this done in my first visit is it because they already think it something sinister ? ????

I also feel exhausted today from it all ? Usually I have a lot of energy x

  • Hello Dee7rah,

I'm sorry you're feeling this way.

When you are worried that you may have cancer, it can be natural to think the worst or look for answers online, but this can end up increasing anxiety rather than making you feel better. And the only person that can diagnose you is your doctor. If you're finding things a bit overwhelming, Anxiety UK has some great resources to help.

    I hope this is helpful,
