Hi,just read your post and I'm sorry you are having so much worry,I know only to well what that is like, I had my son diognosed with cance just before Christmas in Dec 2020,my mum was in hospital with strokes and falls,and my sister was in hospital on a life support machine with Guillian Bare,  I was running around for everyone then in May I found lump in my right breast,which turned out to be cancer, so.i do.know how you are feelimg,its hard and you don't know which way to turn. I've had 39 colonoscopys,and had  a right side bowel resection in 2015,the colonoscopy procedures are ok ,and your partner will be well looked after,I always have the sedation as I'm to nervous to go without it ,but I know some people do and are  it OK. I dudnt have cancer ,but had pre cancerous cell's  on a flat sessile polyp on my bowel wall,and have  internal and external hemeroids, and numerous polyps on previous colonoscopy which bleed but were not cancerous ,  there are a number of reasons why yoir partner may be bleeding, it doesn't always mean cancer.  My advice to you, is try to stay positive and not always think of the worst case scenario, take each day at  time ,but think of tge positives ie...your partner is being seen,and if there is anything wrong it can be dealt with.

That's what got me through everything I was dealing with ,it's not easy to do,but once you get your positive head on it does help.  Hope evetything goes well,and im sute you will get more replies to offer you sone advice that may help you.
