My doctors cancelled my bloods today due to staff sickness so waiting until Monday. Literally just doubled my anxiety as I was ready to make a plan tomorrow and get to the bottom of it xx

That totally sucks. As if you aren't stressed enough already. I actually received an appointment today to go for a ct scan on my pelvis and abdomen on June 21st. Also I have another appointment for my gp next Thursday as I've been really ill this week with a heavy period. Thanks for asking x

Heya. Thanks for asking. Bloods all done, so will await the call tomorrow. I did speak to the nurse but she said any examinations will be done by the doctor so I will have to wait and see what they say. 
 

Is it your GP app this Thursday? How have you been feeling? Better I hope xxx

Do you think maybe the doctors will do some bloods Thursday or something along them lines just to have another check before your next app? 
 

Got my results, so my lymphocytes are raised, I'm back Monday to have another blood test with results Tuesday. I can't remember if I said but along with the odd bleeding etc I've also had an enlarged lymph node in my groin and neck for some time. The doctor wants to see if it's still the same next week in terms of it it's still raised and then go from there. He said if it was back to normal I would go in Friday for an internal examination. Obviously my mind is racing that what if the bleeding etc is related to these lymph nodes. Now another weeks to wait xx

Hey yeah she might do another few bloods cause it has been a few weeks since I last got mine done. Yeah I'm sure your mind will be going ten fold. It's the waiting that's the worst. Did they say anything to you about having an infection or anything x 

So I actually said to the doctor that the week before last I had a stuffy nose and sore throat for a couple of days and would that effect it, which he said it may well do so if it's redone Monday if it was because of that it should have gone back down. I obviously hope that it's nothing sinister but I still feel like there is no rush. They don't know what's going on, I don't know either and by the time I have my blood results again that's near on a month of no closer to actually knowing. I even asked the doctor about having a face to face appointment someone to actually examine me as no one has, to which he said let's re do the bloods first so more waiting. Sorry I'm proper moaning on today. Xxe

You certainly aren't moaning on. You are just concerned about your health. Everything just seems so stop start at the minute and they blame covid for it. I understand stand your frustration as when you feel rubbish all the time and you can't get to the bottom of it then it starts to really get you down. I hope you can get some answers soon. I really have had an issue with my gp its just been waiting on hospital appointments and a gynecologist that wasn't interested x 

Hopefully with your next appointment you see someone slightly more understanding and who can fully check you over to get to the bottom of it and fingers crossed put your mind at rest. They must understand that anyone would be concerned if in the same position! 

Your so right about the whole covid thing. I struggle to even get a face to face appointment with my gp, even for my children they try to diagnose over the phone. It's my little lest ones 3rd birthday next Saturday and now all I can think is that if my bloods are still off next week when I find out that I'll still be super anxious when I'm meant to be enjoy his special day. Xx
