Hello. 

I had a smear yesterday and the nurse called the doctor in. They both agreed my cervix doesn't look right. I heard the words jagged, Hole punch. My mind was whirling and I nearly passed out. Obviously I'm scared out of my mind. The smear made me bleed alot too.

I have my appointment through for Tuesday. 

I know nothing about smears and the c word. I've blanked it out all my life as it's too scarry to think about. I've had genital warts and herpes in the past. Could it be this that's damaged my cervix? I have read about how an abnormal smear could mean STD's I don't know if this could damage and that's what the doctor and nurse saw??? It might not be on my records about the warts as I went to a clinic. Not sure about the herpes, that might be on my records. But they didn't ask me anything like that and I didn't think to mention it. I've had normal smears since I had the warts (about 18 years ago) and herpes (I had that about 14 years ago and one other outbreak since) 

I'm freaking out so much. Any help would be appreciated.
