  • Hello Bigbev

I'm sorry to hear about your molar pregnancy and that as a result, you underwent chemotherapy at the end of last year. I hope that you're recovered from what I'm sure has been a difficult time.

It's understandable that you're feeling anxious about the changes to your cycle that you've noticed over the past few months. Given the treatment that you've been through it wouldn't be surprising for you to have some changes but I'd really encourage you to speak to your GP or Consultant who I'm sure will be able to give you some reassurance about things.

With regards to your recent cervical screening result, there's some information about HPV on the Jo's Trust website which hopefully will give you some information. HPV is far more common than many people realise and in most cases, your immune system gets rid of HPV within 2 years. However, it's good to hear that you have another screening appointment arranged for a few months time.

If you'd like to chat with one of our nurses about your concerns you're welcome to call them. they will be back in the office after the bank holiday on 0808 800 4040 (Mon-Fri 9 am to 5 pm).

    I hope this helps.

    Best wishes,
