*temporary blackness in left eye

*right side of body doesn't seem to be responding as well as it should (ie not texting or typing) this isn't all the time just maybe once/twice a day

*balance issues (unable to walk in a straight line without almost falling over)

*confusion

*hearing problems

*stabbing pains in eyes and face

*severe constant abdominal pain

I have been to the doctors however they have stated because of my age (18) it is unlikely to be anything serious I attended the opticians today and they have referred me to an omthamologist of whom I should have an appointment with next week or so. Can you force your GP to give you an MRI to rule it out since all of these can't just be due to nothing.

i said potentially absence seizures because I'm still not sure I am having them my mum has said she's noticed me drift off mid sentence quite a few times and just stay completely still for 3-5 seconds

  • Hiya, I'm not surprised your worried hun. That is alot of different symptoms.. Sorry your having such a hard time.. I would have thought the Dr would have you referred for different tests at the hospital.. Whether you are only 18 or not they should be taking it serious. Maybe go back with your mum to push for more testing and to get to the route cause.. Try not to worry to much. Brain tumours are quite rare . Hope you get answers soon.

  • They've finally agreed to do an MRI!! I have to wait about 2 weeks which will seem like years because the pain is unbearable but I'm getting somewhere.
