Back in Nov of last yr I woke up with with all of the symptoms of mastitis. Intially treated with antibiotics, didn't respond well. Finally after 2 weeks of antibiotics there was some improvement. I had a mammogram and ultrasound and everything looked ok.

Feb of this year it all flared up again. It was incredibly painful and I ended up in A&E on IV antibiotics. I was seen in the breast clinic both times. But have only just had the ultrasounds  they recommended after the last bout of mastitis. During that ultrasound I still had a collection which they drained and sent off for testing. I'm a nervous wreck and worried sick that it's more than mastitis. Although the majority if the swelling a redness in my breast has gone down it's been tender and itchy for months. 

Is anyone else in the same situation? I'm struggling to know what the think!
