Hi, That's great, I will take a look. Have made myself some lists of things I want to get done this week and am working my through to keep myself busy. I have definitely learnt I'm not a patient person.

I called my doc on Thursday to chase up the appt as still hadn't heard anything and have been told that I am in the system but at the moment its 3 weeks + wait. I understand that it's most likely to due to the pandemic and stuff but to know it will probably be another 2 weeks, if not a little more has not helped :neutral:

I had my appt yesterday; the consultant I saw said she wasn't worried about the size difference and was quite sure it was a cyst but sent me for an ultrasound to confirm. Went for the ultrasound and the doctor doing it said yes it looks like a cyst but I'll use this needle to pull out the fluid and that will confirm it. He tried but nothing came out, so asked for a bigger needle and still nothing came out. He then said he will need to take biopsy it as it wasn't  behaving as he expected and was solid rather than fluid.

They took 2 samples and he said we will get the results next week sometime. I asked if he had any ideas what it was, he said he didn't know and we would need to wait for the results but whatever it was we would deal with it.

I feel a little unsettled now. The long wait for the appt had kind of helped in some way, because I knew it was a longer wait than first expected I had worked really hard on being calm and convincing myself it was just a cyst, so when the consultant said she was sure it was just a cyst it confirmed what I was thinking. Now I'm just not sure, I have a feeling its going to be a really long week waiting.

I know the feeling with waiting i had biopsys taken on the 14th May and my appointment is tomorrow, I've gone through so many emotions! Hope you get your appointment soon for your results and hope that you are able to distract yourself until you have to go, hard I know.

Thank you. Among other things I launched my own business this year and have been quite distracted recently so I really need to try and focus. Like you say there's just such a range of emotions though.

Well I have been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, they found 4 lumps, 2 biopsys taken that came back malignant, its lobular cancer which is due to hormones, I am still getting my head round it to be honest. Met my breast care nurse and she's ringing me Tuesday, have to have mastectomy and will be having reconstruction surgery at the same time just waiting for appointment now.

I'm not too bad thank you, got a letter today and my appt is on Thursday afternoon (typically the one time during half term i had actually arranged a play date for my girls lol). Was obviously hoping it would be the earlier part of the week to save me stressing too much but the girls will keep me busy this week I'm sure lol
