Since About 3/4 months ago I have had a little bit of bleeding when going to the toilet - it was only even a wee drop on the toilet paper and came and went - I had typical itchy bottom and it was painful to pass - which I naturally thought was piles.

Around 3 weeks ago I actually noticed it on the side of the stool which was new but this only happened once and it was a painful. And have developed a little bit of abdominal pain (to be honest this only really started after I began to google things so again wasn't sure if it was in my mind or not)

however to be on the safe side I went to the doctors. I've handed in 2 stool samples and had blood tests

My rectal exam was clear (but to be fair I haven't had bleeding for a couple weeks now) but my bloods came back saying I'm mildly anemic. This again rang alarm bells.

im still waiting for my stool samples to come back - but I'm terrified if they're positive - every sign will lead to colon cancer - I'm already losing sleep and terrified of the outcome. I feel like I've already accepted that this is my fate

im only 31 so know that it would be rare - but I know it's not unheard of. 
 

my question is has anyone had all of these symptoms mildly I must add - and it's turned out not to be cancer?
