Hi. I found a lump in my armpit. I've been to the GP and I've been referred to breast clinic but they don't have an appointment until 12th may. Has anybody paid for a private scan? If so what company did you use and how much was it?
I did investigate this when waiting for a referral. I googled local private hospitals, called one that could have seen me that day but the price was just over £1,000 for consultation mammogram and ultrasound. I ended up waiting for appt as it wasn't too long but this may put your mind at rest and I know other ladies on here have gone down the private route to get a quicker answer.
