Cyst on ovary

Hi,

I'm new to all this so please excuse the worry.

I went to hospital last week as I was extremely bloated, had pain in my right side and was going to the toilet every 2 mins. After a visit to a and e they asked me to go back the next day for a CT scan as they thought it may be the cyst on my ovary causing the problems. I was fully unaware that they had found the cyst 5 years ago and didn't tell me.

My cyst is now 5.5 cm and I am in so much pain. I am currently awaiting an ultra sound (which could take 6 weeks) I can hardly eat and I'm struggling to empty my bowels.

Should I be worried?

Thanks in advance x
