My husband did the poo tests regularly then a few years ago he lost weight a bit too quickly for my liking but put it down to eating less now he was retired. One night there was a growl type noise from his right side. Next day he had a scan and within 36 hours he was told he had stage 4 colon cancer..  that was 18 months ago.  No other poo like symptoms or pain.  I rang the poo test helpline and asked why this hadn't been detected through the tests and they said he must have slipped through the net! If you or someone you know is losing weight too quickly, without dieting, get a blood test please, he had no other symptons but losing weight is definitely a visual indication. X
