My mother discovered a lump on her breast a couple of weeks ago. She has been referred to the breast clinic but they have said with covid wait is currently a 4 week backlog and nothing they can do
She lost her mother, Aunty and 2 uncles to cancer so we are very concerned given the family history
Would it be worth getting private scans/tests? Where would we start and what costs could we potentially be looking at?
