Hello my name is Emma and I am 38 yrs old 

At scan which ended up as a transvaginal ultrasound the radiographer was great trying to reassure me. The radiograph report was normal size uterus, slight irregular texture with focal echo bright area of 1cm which appears like a polys but has no vascular supply (could be a blood clot)and Endometrial thickening of 9mm. No other concerns no free fluid or anything on ovaries which I was worried about as my family carrier BRAC gene but mum does not have this genetic when she had her genetics tested she said I will have another scan 6-8 weeks later 
 

In the time I was waiting for second scan old implant removed which was in for 4 years and 3 months and replaced mid cycle did not get period two weeks later. Second scan  transvaginal scan unsure of finding other than ovaries are still ok, Edometrium is still thickened not sure how much and still have this ? Blood clot but the radiologist told me she would send report back to GP who made the referral and not just sent back to the GP I was told the results would be back by end of that day or next day at latest. I did not hear anything called GP a week after and he has referred me on a two week referral. I have also had swab taken and smear test and the appointment is next Thursday. I have had bleeding since TVS and smear but also not sure if it is a period as my new implant has been in a month as well. It has been very light it has changed in appearance several time
 

I am absolutely terrified and then my logical brain kicks in on it can't be cancer and start to think it could be something else as bleeding only twice and only for 5-7 days extra and that is over the last few month since the October when I had the last bleed and then my mind bouncing back to I have cancer looking for other signs that it has spread etc all little aches and pain, not sleeping and still working and struggling to concentrate about daily issues my mind is not switching off at all. I am overweight which is another issue but due to the stress i have lost weight intentional but only 5lbs but it a start as this is really scaring me into better lifestyle changes.
