Hi ive recently found a lump in my throat i have been to the doctors and they have referred me for an ultrasound. Im going out of my mind with worry. The lump is a little smaller than a golf ball and its sits where my thyroid is , the doc said its soft smooth and is movable so is thinking a cyst. Since going to the doctor its moved more into my windpipe area and feels like i have something in my throat. my throat has been a little raspy but put it down to me being ill the other week. Do cancerous lumps move like this usually? doc has also ordered bloods to be done to check for a range of things as i have a lot of symptoms of hypothyroidism. Has any one had the same thing and has already been seen by the hospital ?
