A big welcome to Cancer Chat. I am so sorry to hear your husband has been unable to eat. This must be so distressing both for him and for you and you must be feeling so incredibly powerless not knowing what to give him to eat at the moment. I really hope that the ENT will contact you very soon as it does sound like your husband would benefit from being seen quickly. It is concerning that he can't even swallow homemade soup. I think it would be a good idea to get in touch with a doctor urgently and see what they can suggest. Do mention that he is losing a lot of weight due to not being able to eat and that you are very worried about him as he can't swallow properly. Try and talk to a doctor today if you can. I hope he is managing to drink water. If you feel things get bad over the weekend don't hesitate to ring 111 for advice or 999 if you feel he needs to be seen urgently. 

I hope you manage to speak to someone about that very soon. You are doing so well trying to look after him but if you feel he can't swallow properly it would be worth flagging this with a doctor again.

I really hope they get to the bottom of what is going on very soon and that your husband feels better soon and that he manages to eat properly again.
