Had lump under my armpit but not on surface of skin

Got this lump in my armpit deep not on the surface had it for about 6 weeks it quiet hard to the touch its not painful . It now my my upper arm down to my elbow ache and the top right of chest around the shoulder .So question is when should I tell my Dr,s Iam a transplant patient so my immune system is depleted all the time I had a few bout of skin cancer in the past so any advice should I leave or inform my Drs

    you shouldn't definitely consult your doctor or a GP. Even if it is nothing it's better to know that you are safe than to feel as though it could be anything. 
     

    the lump could be a cyst or a swollen lymph node which swollen lymph nodes generally come and go due to an infection of the body or it could be something more serious. 
     

    you should ask them to do a full blood counts to see if there are any abnormalities to usual and then ask for an ultrasound for the lump and take it from them. To get the ultrasound you would need to get your GP to reffer you xx
