Thanks for reply - I had a read of all the stories it certainly sounds like quite a problem and causing a lot of worry for people. Hopefully in time we will all be back to normal however in the meantime I'm sure we could all do without the worry!

Hi, just come across this thread as I've been out of my mind worrying the same as everyone else. Had my first AZ jab 8 weeks ago, a few days later the supraclavicular lymph node on the same side felt swollen and google has had me stressed to the max. Docs didn't seem interested, first one told me over the phone it was probably nothing. Second one saw me, felt it and said it's probably nothing but she ordered a chest X-ray and an ultrasound. Chest X-ray official results are back on Wednesday, but the radiographer said she couldn't see anything bad on there that immediately jumped out at her. Blood tests are all clear and I haven't had the ultrasound yet. 
Had my second AZ jab on Friday in the opposite arm, mostly as I wanted to see if the same thing happened, and lo and behold I now have a supraclavicular node coming up that side too. I also have found a small one under my jaw on the opposite side, but I do think that one has been there for a while and is possibly due to the first jab. I'll post more results when I get them, currently waiting for a call back from my doc about the new lump just to be on the safe side. Feel more reassured seeing all your posts though, so thank you all.

Your reply re-assures me a lot. It is interesting that a lymph node came up on the other side after the vaccine. It is almost like you wish for it to happen isn't it.

can I ask if the one of the left side has decreased at all and what size it is?

I know everyone is different etc but it is interesting.

This is just what I needed to read. I have a raised lymph node under my arm (only noticed after AZ vaccine) it's 5 weeks later now and still there. I have my breast appointment on Wednesday to check it out, I'm so paranoid it's something sinister but I have no other symptoms (other than a sore boob because I had poked and prodded it so much). 

Hi, I deliberately had the second jab in my other arm to see if the same thing happened. It's not such a large change this time, but I've had a much reduced response to the vaccine compared to last time overall too. The one on the left (first one) got to about the size of a small grape, but has reduced somewhat over the last week. Probably because I've made myself poke it less. I have a small one under the jawline that side too that appeared. The one on the right is a lot smaller, like a small pea. Both the supraclavicular ones are rubbery and moveable. Also painless, unless I mess with them too much, and then they ache. The one under my jaw is slightly tender.

That is really interesting. I'm trying to take comfort in my node appearing that the vaccine is making my body react the way it has. 
I've reported mine under the yellow card scheme as if people do this will it be listed as a more common side effect? To at least put minds at rest but always good to get checked!

I am trying so hard not to prod it but just hoping that one day I will look for it and it has completely gone.

I think warm water on it helps and I read somewhere a warm compress can help swollen nodes.

I think it is definitely helping. I am so glad we have all found this post, there is another couple of posts with same questions, worth checking those out too, and Twitter I did a simple search of 'covid vaccine lymph nodes' and some interesting finds on there!

Hi, I also reported mine on the yellow card scheme. First time round I had palpitations so bad I had to have an ecg too. I'm not sure my body liked it much, but if it puts an end to the last 12 months of lockdowns then so be it!

I'll have a look on here for the other posts in the meantime. I have promised myself I'll stay off google, although being a student paramedic I was already aware of the link between supraclavicular lymph nodes and lymphoma so staying off google doesn't make a lot of difference really!

Hi all, I've come back to update you all. I had a chest X-ray a couple of weeks ago, no formal results yet, but the radiographer said she couldn't see anything of note on there, and the doctors haven't been in touch so I'm thinking no news is good news by this stage. 
 

Also, today I have been for an ultrasound on the lymph nodes in my neck. They checked all around; my thyroid, right up behind my ears, clavicle area. Everything. He said he was having trouble finding it, however I can still feel it, so he sat me up and felt it with his hand, then continued. He said he'll do a formal report, but he's sure it's just a reactive lymph node after the covid vaccine and said there are a lot of similar cases coming through. 
 

I hope this puts some minds at rest. Has anyone else had any tests or results?

I'm new here. I just wanted to share that I too have found a lump (swollen supraclavicular lymph node) above my left collarbone, on the same side of the body that I had the jab. That was ten days after my first vaccination with AstraZeneca.
 

I am trying not to panic but it's so hard not to worry, isn't it? What I find most difficult is that I can't tell for sure how long the lump has been there. I only noticed it coincidentally when I was (subconsciously) rubbing that area after I got sun burnt in the same spot. I just figured it could have been caused by the vaccination two weeks before. It's really difficult to tell as it's not really in a place I can see or feel. I need to move my shoulder back a certain way for it to become visible. 
 

I'll have my GP appointment tomorrow but I'm anxious about that too. What if the doctor suggests further tests which might really not be a good idea just yet? This possible side effect has not been made as public here in the UK as it has been in the US, for example  - and there is no data re AstraZeneca. So, it all depends on how alarmed my GP will be and what she knows about the potential vaccine connection. 
 

And finally, I'm also a little concerned that the lump isn't decreasing in size, or maybe just ever so slightly. If it's from the vaccine, it must have been there for three weeks now. Most sources I've found said swollen lymph nodes should go back to normal after 2 weeks, although one vaccine-related source said 4-6 weeks. Not sure what to think.

Please don't panic. There is also a few more threads like this and one that has about 170 posts (not meaning to divert to another post but more to show that there are lots in the same position). 
I am 4 weeks post vaccine and have mine still there and I think it has decreased and that is because I am trying so hard to leave it alone and I think it does help. I have also been putting warm water from the shower on to it too.

I went to the GP when I noticed mine and he didn't seem fussed at all and is sending me for an ultrasound only because he could see how worried I was. After seeing all of the posts about this same thing I feel so much more at ease.

 I have also found that the USA seem to be reporting this as a side effect more than the UK, perhaps it isn't reported enough? I have reported mine on the yellow card scheme to raise awareness.

the more I talk about it the more I am hearing of people who have the same and have noticed around time of vaccine. I was wondering when mine would have popped up and if it was before vaccine but then I think well I am sure I would have noticed in the shower.
