Endoscopy after CT and Ultrasound WHY ??

Hi,

A week and a half ago I had a abdominal CT scan then 3 or 4 days later I had an abdominal Ultrasound and was patiently waiting for the results although anxious. Today I get a letter saying I have been referred to go for an Endoscopy but cannot get hold of anyone to ask why and who referred me. I am assuming that something has shown up in the CT or Ultrasound and now I'm back to full on anxiety mode has anyone had to have endoscopy after a CT scan and what happened

    Hi Deez,

    I don't know why you were referred for the ct or us but I would imagine they want to have a closer look at something and that is why the endoscope.

    I wouldn't worry too much yet as it could be something small, such as an ulcer. Try your best to sooth your anxiety as best you can. I find meditations on YouTube work well for me. If a 10 min stillness can do wonders.
