  • Hello Candice2009,

You did well to insist and to make your mum go to the GP. I hope that the CT scan went well but I am sorry to hear that she is in pain from the dye.

I am so sorry to hear you lost your dad at such a young age and more recently your friend too -  these tragic events must have been really traumatic for you and I can understand why you are now feeling so anxious. Unfortunately all you can do for now is wait and waiting is often described here on the forum as the hardest thing. Try and just take a day at a time and if you can focus on other things, keep busy and distracted for the next couple of weeks until you get the results and avoid looking anything up online as this will inevitably make you worry more. Dr Google is certainly not to be trusted!

It won't be long now before you find out more and we are keeping everything crossed for your mum that everything turns out to be fine. Keep us updated if you get a chance.

    Best wishes,
