Worried I have a brain tumour

Hi I'm 23. So about 4/ years ago I started having an occasional dizzy spell here an there. But kept disappearing then one day about 3 year ago I took a very bad dizzy spell thats left me feeling lightheaded ever since. Evey single day for years feeling lightheaded and constant pressure at the base of my skull. Ive always had neck and back problems. Ive been to a chiropractor 34x. And no win a physio. Doctirs have checked my full bloods over 2 years. Most recently 3 month ago it was fine. Also had my heart checked. Phyical examjnation. My eyes checked. My balance doctors say ota nothing to worry about. I'm roddled with anxiety. I was managing work for 2 years until I took a dizzy spell and ive been off for 40 weeks now. I already had severe anxiety but now ita went through the roof. My head and the pressure in my head is completely fine first thing in tge morning and late at night. It comes on about 30 minutes after getting out of bed. My mum. Has CFS. Doctors say it isn't inherretid when it is. I'm getting treated the now for cerviginical headache/pressure. At a physio. So hoping that'll help. Ita not got qirse over the 3 yeafs my anxiety has just hit the roof. Does that sound serious to any of yous? Or do u think after 3 year it would be worse. Also the fact that I'm fine first thing in the morning and late at night. Just occainal head aches that go away but the head pressure is constant. In hoping ifs bwcaue of posture thats my biggest worry thank u

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat, Zanderryan23.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I can appreciate why you're worried, but try to focus on the fact that your doctors already ran a series of tests and found nothing of concern.

If you haven't already done it, perhaps it might be good to try to address your anxiety levels as stress rarely helps.

The other thing I wanted to mention is that if you find that speaking with someone medically trained on the phone might help, our team of nurses might be able to answer some of your cancer-related questions. They are available on this phone number 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

    Best wishes,
