her doctor said he wanted to send her for ct scan,

been waiting About 2 weeks as he wanted her to go to the heamotolist first , (this was supppse to be this Thursday but they have told her not to go now as she has had all

this other stuff done at a different hospital )

so my mum went today to the ct scan,

the results  are . A mas / shadow/ something in the top

left hand corner  of her lung,

my mum has lost weight and I been on at her since end of last year as she very tiny person any way ,,

She also got to have more blood work / breathing machine test / and an apt for a pet scan/pap scan (sorry if this is spelt wrong) at London or Southend hospital.  IM being positive to my mum,  trying to stop

her from thinking about it which is probably hard not to think about it, ,

  • As I noticed this is your first post with us, I wanted to stop by and welcome you to Cancer Chat, Rosie2008.

I'm sorry to hear about your mum's situation, but I'm glad that she is having her symptoms investigated by her medical team.

Hopefully, others who have been through a similar experience will come along shortly to share their stories with you and offer advice but until then if you feel like speaking with someone medically trained might help, our team of nurses available on this phone number 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

    Best wishes to you both,
