Hi all just after some advice.

My FIT test came back positive, I was referred to a consultant one week ago, the consultant said he would arrange a ct scan and colonoscopy within 3 weeks.

I have been lucky I got a cancellation CT scan last Friday and called today to say my colonoscopy would be on the 18th.

I've been poorly for sometime and not feeling great the worry doesn't help...can anyone advise if I will get my CT results prior to my colonoscopy or will I get everything all at once. If it's bad news or indeed good when will I be told.

Would they even do the colonoscopy if it was clear? Or is something there that's why the called and booked me in today?

My partner thinks because I've not heard anything it must be good news and I shouldn't worry.

Also realistically if the FIT test is positive should I be expecting a positive diagnos? 

it's awful waiting any advice would be appreciated
