Ovarian cancer - EXTREME anxiety. HELP!

Hi,

im a 21 year old female who has suffered severe pelvic pain every few months since I was 17 years old. I've been to my GP& A &E a few times over it and I was sent for an ultrasound scan when I was 18 and they said they couldn't see anything. I still have the pelvic pain now (not as bad as it used to be) along with frequent constipation and am convinced I have ovarian cancer. The doctor in hospital checked my stomach and pelvic area for any lumps and didn't find anything. I'm going to get a private CA125 blood test in 2 weeks and I'm petrified and fully convinced it's cancer and I'm going to die in a couple of years. Please can someone reassure me because I feel so alone and can't take this anxiety anymore.

  • Hi @sophiej123,

Sounds like you have been through so much with the pain you have suffered. I dont blame you organising the blood test.

It's very easy to assume the worst (I'm currently awaiting breast lump biopsy results), Dr Google also doesn't help. Try to take each day as it comes and hopefully you'll get your blood results quickly and they are negative for any cancer x
