A little background I've had unexplained chest and abominal pains since Jun 2020. The chest pain is more bothersome than anything abdonimal, which is much better than it was last year. The chest pain is more so pressure (almost constant) now then the pains I once felt, although I still get aches and localized pain on-and-off.
On the abdominal CT I had at the end of 2020 I had "mildly enlarged right lower quadrant mesenteric lymph nodes measuring up to 10 mm short axis." When I was speaking to my doctor about the results he kinda skated over that quickly saying that was interesting because they're in an area I have no pain. Any issues I've had have been pretty localized to my upper abdomen. He didn't speculate what might cause that and I for whatever reason didn't ask.
I have a follow-up CT in a couple days to check the stability of these nodes. As it nears I'm getting kind of nervous. What's interesting when this all began I didn't really have concerns that anything was going on in my stomach. I was so sure this was all chest/lung, although 3 chest x-rays seem to have ruled out anything sinister there. I'm convinced though I have some kind of cancer in my chest, but I keep being told that's unlikely.
I'm 36, male, white, a little overweight but not obese and I don't smoke. I'm just wondering anyone has had a similar experience with these nodes being enlarged and has any insight from personal experience.
