Lump behind nipple

Hi,

I went to the doctors yesterday for a lump behind my

nipple which has been there for around 6 months. Sometimes this can be very tender and other times its ok. It has caused nipple retraction too. Doctor has said she cannot feel any other lumps present but has referred me for peace of mind and to rule anything out. My youngest is 10 months and I had a bad bout of Mastitis when they were around one month old. Is it possible that this is just scar tissue from that?

    im sorry to hear you are having some worries about your health at the moment. Whilst I can't answer your question, I can tell you that you are not alone in these worries. 
     

    this morning I spoke to my doctor after finding a lump behind my bipole(areola) 2 weeks ago. I put off doing anything about it because I thought maybe it was to do with my period but it's stuck around. The doctor has also referred me to the breast clinic but I am unaware of it is urgent or not. 
     

    im praying that my lump is due to my nipple piercing.
