I had a similar concern last month.. swollen gland on the right side of my neck. It was not huge, but noticeable. I went to the docs, bloods were fine, and he was not concerned with the size. I have not paid much attention to it since then but I noticed it is still there, slightly smaller but very moveable. Surprisingly stress can also contribute to lymph nodes swelling. As someone who also has anxiety issues - I think we should try do ourselves a favour and trust in the results we have received. Good luck in your biopsy but I'm sure you are fine 

I'm the exact same.. I read too much into Dr Google and put myself into a frenzy.. which will do more damage than good in the end. Couple of things I will say , the odds are in your favour .. swollen nodes are normal .. additionally it is common for a node to stay swollen indefinitely long after an infection has left the body.. i have read a thread on here recently that had countless people reporting the same lymph node issues but often a lot worse . Having additional symptoms like fever and weight loss , and not one of them in the thread ended up having lymphoma.. I think it's good you care about your health - and the tests are just to rule things out with certainty. It would be careless of you and your doctor to not have these tests performed.. I am still a little anxious myself , but I feel great , I just have an enlarged lymph node and I'll keep an eye on it ..but I have to trust my doctor over Google ..

I've just received a phone call this morning from the hospital and they've booked me in for a ct pet scan on the  8th April, she seems so lovely on the phone and went through everything and that the room is huge so I won't feel as anxious or Claustrophobic. I'm really nervous about tomorrow for the biopsy, this is the same doctor who said to me as soon as he entered the room 'that's a massive lump' he made me feel even more *** about myself but I have no other symptoms other than this swelling so I'm hoping things come back ok and tomorrow will be better

I have my ct scan on the 8th April, sorry for confusion! I'm waiting on results from the biopsy I had done yesterday so I should hear back in a week hopefully.. fingers crossed! Oh god I don't know roughly, maybe around 2cm or 3, I wish I could send a picture across hun‍♀️ but all I know is that a few lymph nodes had appeared and I have some serious swelling too. I'm hoping it's nothing too serious but it's best to get it checked even if your unsure of what it is and why it has appeared. It took me five months to get this thing checked out cause I thought it would just go away but if I'm honest it could be anything. My nurse told me yesterday that you might have an infection and you don't even know it! I'm sure your fine anyway but always best to get it seen too xx

I feel like my ones are like 2-3cm too but I really don't know they could be bigger. Hopefully your one is an infection and nothing too serious. 
 

to be honest I want a biopsy like I don't even care about the ultrasound but I not the protocol. But I just feel like as soon as I go to the ultrasound they are going to say it's quite big so they would want a biopsy. I wish they would like do everything in a week but I know I'm legit asking for the impossible.

if your worried about the size and if YOU think it's got bigger I would advise to get it checked out hun, it's better safe than sorry. Our lymph nodes always pop up for various reasons or no reasons at all. The only reason as well they told me I was getting a biopsy is because I had a lot of swelling also in my neck too and they honestly can't say what's causing that. My gp says it's not cancerous as my lump is so moveable.. is your lump moveable too?  Haha I know I wish it's gets done ASAP but I only saw my go a few weeks back and so far I already had my bloods taken, an ultra sound and a biopsy so far so it's been pretty quick but very stressful at the same time. 
 

I'm 26 hun, your young so I'm sure it's nothing but like I said if your worried get it checked.. don't be like me and wait months and months to get checked xx

just wanted to check up on you to see how your scan was. I know you probably just got it done. 
 

I have an ultrasound tomorrow at 2:15 but I feel like they are only going to check my armpit and not my neck and my doctor did a referral for the armpit.

Hey hun, unfortunately my biopsy results showed up as Hodgkin's lymphoma and I found that out yesterday morning. It's tough and I'm still trying to process it now and comes to terms with it. I've had so much love and support so far and I've only just came out of my pet scan that I had and that was to check if I have any more lumps anywhere else but the good thing is that it's curable and doesn't spread as it's in your blood, it will be hard and definitely not an easy journey. I also start my chemo in 2 weeks so everything has moved quite fast. 
 

For yourself I would get him to check your armpit and neck just so it puts your mind at ease and if they ask for biopsy's etc doesn't mean you have what I have babe, you have to know that and if I'm honest now that I have this type of cancer, it seems like it's a pretty common cancer and you can't die from it lol which I'm very glad about. 
 

im pretty sure you will be fine sweetie, I was just very unlucky in this case xx
