im 35 and had my 2nd baby 4 months ago. 6 weeks after giving birth I had some rectal bleeding that went on for a few weeks. I spoke with the GP on the phone and they diagnosed me with an anal fissure. I started treatment and within 2 days the bleeding stopped. 3 weeks later it came back again. I started the treatment again and in 2 days the bleeding stopped again. 4 weeks later I started bleeding after a bowel movement, with blood on the tissue and on the stool. 

I am going to contact my GP again tomorrow but I am worried this maybe be bowel cancer. Has anyone had similar symptoms and what was the outcome?
