Brain Tumor concerns

I'm a 54 year old man. 

Since October last year I have been getting strange headaches. Not conventional types I've had before. Not overly painful but just about every day. I cant explain exactly how they feel. Sometimes a light throbbing pain and then weird sensations under my scalp. Also this has been interspersed with nausea and nausea. The nausea is getting worse. 

Also I have pins and needles down my left hand side of my body

Recently I have been looking on Facebook and I have been struggling to put names to faces of famous people including Boris Johnson and other famous people. It's taken my several seconds to come up with their names. The same when watching TV. Well known famous people and I'm struggling to think of their names. 

 

I am extremely worried

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear of your worries. The only thing to really do if you feel you're experiencing symptoms is to make an appointment to speak to your doctor and talk things through - they are the only one who can really advise.

    I have had a telephone appointment with my doctor today who has arranged an appointment for me tomorrow and an urgent MRI.

    I am so scared and really upset.

    I had my MRI on 28th March. Booked in urgently by my GP.

    The results have gone back to my GP surgery today. Unfortunately my doctor is not working today. The receptionist could not give me my results which is understandable but she stated they had come back and were marked up routine?

    I'm so confused and worried.

    I'm sorry you've been left feeling confused and worried by what you've been told by the receptionist.

    Unfortunately I can't explain what this means but if you feel it will help you're welcome to talk things through with our nurses team on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

    I know I can't take the worry away but I hope this information will help you whilst you wait.
