Waiting for results

Hi has anyone received bad news by post? I'm waiting on breast biopsy results and the doctor is confident it is benign but obviously there is a chance it isn't. She has said I will receive results by post but would they send bad news in a letter? 

Also has anyone else felt like they haven't reacted how they should? I kind of feel numb to the whole thing

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. Typically when you receive results you also have an appointment to discuss these with your doctor, so hopefully you will get this too.

    Everyone reacts differently to the situation - it's never easy dealing with this uncertainty, some people worry a lot more and others prefer to stay distracted or not think about it too much.
