Hi, sorry you are going through this. I'm experiencing something similar at the moment. I found a lump, it feels a bit bigger than a pea size just under/above my nipple. I had a GP appointment and they said it moved so was likely a blocked milk duct as I had a baby in December. They gave me antibiotics which did nothing so I went back. Saw another GP who said they didn't think it was a blocked milk duct and referred me to the breast clinic for a scan. I go on Friday next week. 
 

Like you mention I've been Googling all sorts and it doesn't do much other than cause more worry. It's good you have a GP appointment and hopefully they will be able to see you to put your mind at rest or just give you more information. I keep trying to just focus on other things as I think there's nothing I can do until I see someone. Fingers crossed it's nothing serious for you.

I am sorry to hear you are going through something similar. I'm glad you have been referred to the breast clinic, how long have you had the lump for? Is it smooth and round or ragged? Soft or hard? 
 

google is our worst enemy, I was so good at not doing it but now I'm constantly on it. 
 

I was just sitting here feeling the lump and when I push on it, it literally moves further back or around. And then I can't find it and then it resurfaces. It's really odd, no pain whatsoever. It's like a little pea that you push in water and floats back to the top. 
 

hopefully I will have something to go by on Friday, please let me know how you get on in the breast clinic! Xx

Hi, no problem. Sometimes on this forum it's good to know you're not alone. I've had my lump I'd say for a couple of months now. It's feels hard and round. The first GP I saw said it was good as it moved between her fingers but I'm not sure what movement is meant to feel like so I can't really tell myself. Sometimes it feels a bit tender. 
 

I also keep prodding and poking mine. Then I keep thinking has it moved or changed size. 
 

Hope you also go on well when you speak to your GP.

how are you? Just out of curiosity have you had this lump checked in the breast clinic? I'm totally freaking out about my lump... or two, I can't figure it out. Completely painless which worries me. Pretty sure it's moveable. But can't work out if I'm touching the same lump or if there's two, I know the pea size lump I found moved, but then when I move around the nipple it feels bigger/ or there is another one! So scared!!

How are you? It's so worrying finding the lump it's the it. I'm due at the breast clinic in the morning at 11.10am. I'm just glad it's tomorrow so I can get some more information. I've been touching my lump all week. One day I think it's got smooth edges the next thinking it's jagged. I can't work out if mine moves or not, sometimes I think it does then doesn't. The list kind of goes on. 
 

Have you managed to see/ speak to a GP yet?

mom ok just panicking that this is a sinister lump! I am exactly like you in the thinking it is constantly changing. I have a phone appointment today! Won't really tell me much but I guess it's a step in the right direction.

Good luck with the phone call. At least it's an opportunity to speak with someone and hopefully get more information. I've been so nervous this morning but in a way relieved I'll know more in a few hours time. 

I have just literally had my phone call, nice and early! The doctor asked me Some questions, didn't really say anything, but has referred me straight to the breast clinic! So worried! Good luck hun xx

The waiting is usually the worst part. I just tried to keep myself busy in the week as much as possible while I waited. I think the breast clinic referral is pretty standard for a lump just to be on the safe side. Hope you get your appointment soon.
