I am looking for some reassurance really as I have never felt like this before.

about 6 weeks ago I began to suffer with acid reflux and then I got pains in my stomach after I had eaten. I had a blood test which came back clear. I continued to get pains so spoke with doc again and I did a stool sample...this also came back clear no infections. The pain in my stomach is now constant regardless of whether I have eaten or not. My appetite is not what it was which has caused me to lose weight. 
I have spoke to my doc again who didn't really sound interested but said he would refer me for an urgent ultrasound. It's got to a point now where I need answers so I've booked to go private next Friday. 
I am sick with worry as I have a young family. 
 

has anyone experienced the same and all had been ok? 
 

I really am thinking the worst and it feels so horrible that I'm not sleeping and can't concentrate at work anymore. I've become so miserable.
