Can you make the area inflamed

Good evening all

 

i recently found a pea size lump in my outer upper breast towards my armpit, I have a private drs app to tomorrow as nhs was a six week wait and I'm not sure my nerves could of held out. My question is can you make the area around the lump swollen by prodding I've been pressing it all week and now the whole area is swollen and sore. I don't know I guess I'm hoping I'm imagining it. Has anyone else experienced this, also does anyone else run and has pulled their breast muscles and made them swollen. Any experiences appreciated.

    I saw your post and noted that you had an appointment yesterday afternoon to have the breast lump checked. 

    I just wanted to reply to see how you got on. I hope that the Dr was able to give you some reassurance.
