Lumps in Fallopian tube

Hi all first time posting. I had a scan to check my Mirena coil is was in the correct place. On that scan they noticed 2 cysts and sent me for a gynaecology scan. I had 3 people scan me and was told I had 3 cysts on one ovary and that they had grey matter in them. Also something tubular and their advice is to remove them.  Anyway fast forward 2 weeks  I'm scanned again this time by 3 different drs and I'm told cysts are actually ok and it's my Fallopian tube which has 2 lumps in it and it is swollen and that I don't need surgery and we should watch and wait. They have booked me an appointment to go back in 2 months. They said one cyst on ovary has grown in last 2 weeks but they look ok. They today have blamed the coil for the cysts. I'm just a bit worried about waiting 2 months to be scanned again. It seems a long time. I did ask that today and the consultant said she didn't believe it to be cancerous but she can't be 100% sure.  But it looks ok. I'm confused that 3 people who scanned me earlier said I needed surgery and now I don't.

  • I'm sorry to hear your having issues. Ask for a second opinion. If I was you I would be asking for the op. My mum had a large ovarian cyst. Had full hysterectomy. They said it looked odd but was ok. After 6 months mum was rather unwell. It took 3 path labs to diagnose a rare cancer. It was too late and spread. Please don't get scarred by this, but please push for second opinion
