Do I still attend my appointment

I found a breast lump and got seen by gp who found and felt said lump , I got appointment at breast clinic but now said lump seems to be disappearing should I still get it checked or cancel my appointment so confused now , my breast feels swollen but doesn't look it it aches and I can still mostly feel the lump help I don't want to waste doctors time if not nessary but don't want to miss anything that may need checking ,sorry to ramble just need to air my worries x

Having done the right thing in the first place it would seem foolish to turn this appointment down. Everything is ready for you to be seen and helped, what if you didn't go then it came back you would probably not go back to your GP, so attend that appointment and I hope all goes as you would wish. Thank you for replying I appreciate your thoughts , I shall keep appointment just for peace of mind but I'm still scared they may find something, i think it's just knowing what a lump could represent that causes the worry and fear , but I'll face my fears and all being well they'll be unjustified fingers crossed x

I've been where you are and understand but my lumps turned out to be non cancerous and were removed safely, still here twenty years later, go and get checked! Xx
