I'm so so sorry to read that you are having such a difficult time. I can only guess that what the dr means by the list is adding you to the cancer referral pathway, this is what is done if there is any suspicion of cancer. It is a positive thing as it means that tests/reukts and appointments and urgent and therefore things happen quicker. 
 

It may be the case that the X-ray has shown something suspicious but the CT will give a clearer picture so enable them to give a more accurate diagnosis. 
 

I know how hard it is to be told you could have cancer,as I am right there in that gang, however please try to take some comfort from the fact that what needs to happen is happening (the CT) and this will all lead to you being given some sort of direction. I think sometimes not knowing and being frightened is worse than knowing and regaining some sort of control.

Thanks for writing back. The CT scan I had today is for Thorax with Contrast. They put dye through my top half body. But I do not know if this Thorax contrast is lung cancer. You also asked if I have anyone to talk to. I do not have anyone to talk to about cancer of the lung and I've never had cancer at all until maybe now. I really do not where I can go or anyone who as had the same things as I. But thank you so much for getting back to me. Really appreciate it. Joby. X

I will get results of my ct scan tomorrow 19th March 2021. Doctor will ring me at 10.20am so I will know whether its lung cancer or something. Will write on here of what it is. Speak to you soon. Joby thank you. ️
