Waiting for second chest xray beyond worried

Sorry to post this as I haven't being diagnosed! 

I am out of my mind ! Lost my mum to lung cancer very traumatic she was diagnosed in A&e terminal on her own in middle of the night 

I had chest pain so gp told me to go to A&e ecg blood test xray breast exam was told something on scan breast exam ok I left with antibiotics follow up xray in 4 weeks now I've had 2 lots of antibiotics n9 change no cough phlegm just heaviness can't sleep eat im in a spin and can't do anything to take my mind off this I can't see a good outcome my mum was 64 when she died im 48 ex smoker stopped 10 yrs ago im sick with worry havent slept for 4 days

    I'm sorry to hear about what you've been through with your mum and also your current situation. It's good that you've had this checked out and have another appointment coming up. I can understand this must be worrying. The only thing I can suggest is to try not to assume anything one way or the other, and to try to keep your mind off things while you wait - keeping busy often helps.

    I hope you're able to find out more about this before too long, and we're always here for support on the forum if you need it.
