Lump on side of neck for years

Hello wonderful people,

I am a 24 year old male. I have had a moveable, but fairly firm and non-painful lump on left side of my neck for several years. It is bit larger than a pea. I do not believe it is growing.

Recently, I noticed that I was able to feel one or two small, moveable pea-sized lymph nodes near this lump. This got me a little concerned.

I also have a condition called Meniere's Disease which causes tinnitus and dizziness. I am dreading the possibily that some of my symptoms are not from Meniere's, but something scarier.

I asked a few non-professionals for opinions, who thought it was nothing. However, deep down, I want to check this out and will be booking an appointment with a walk-in clinic soon. My GP is working form home and I prefer someone to see it in person.

Are there any tips that might help me before I go to my appointment? Perhaps some questions I have not thought of asking the doctor.

Also, after reading some experiences, I am very scared about the possibilty of this being something very bad. Has anyone been in a similar situation? My anxiety is very high unfortunately.

Thank-you

J.A.
