Hello,
I am currently trying to arrange an appointment at the GP surgery but due to COVID they are so hard to get hold of. It has only been a day since I tried to arrange an appointment, I’m trying to be as understanding as possible but I am quietly freaking out.
I am experiencing dull ache around the back of my left armpit, near the shoulder blade, and around the centre upper back.
My left breast feels like there’s a thick mass from the centre chest spreading near the nipple. My right breast feels like there’s a small cyst (its round and movable). Occasionally the breasts feel itchy around the chest and nipples feel “tingly” at times, sometimes they ache/hurt but I think the ache is more because I keep checking them.
I am only 25 but I have a strong family history of breast cancer (mum, aunt and great aunt - all maternal side and only mum has survived), but my biggest concerns is it could have spread to my spine/lungs as I’m experiencing back aches and odd chesty choughs (phlemy and a little persistent, hasn’t felt any worse since the aches).
I know there is no reason to fear as back aches have only been experienced two days ago, and nothing has been confirmed by medical professionals, (it could just be this stress that's causing the ache) but with the addition of COVID I am worried all this waiting will speed up the spread, if it is cancer.
I think the main reason for me to post this is because I need someone to talk to. Other than my partner I cannot talk about this to friends or family as I don’t want to worry them at this stage.
Thank you for hearing my ramblings (Sorry its long!).
