Hello I have been referred to the hospital with a lump. The GP said it would be a 2 week referral but when I rang this week they said it was a 9 week waiting list. Does anybody know if I could pay to go quicker as I am feeling so worried
As you know, the pandemic has increased demand on the health services so delay may occur but try not to worry. If you wish look into private options in your area and there's more information on referrals here, which I hope will reassure you.
