Im sure most people here have been here and have gone through much worse but just wondered if anyone had any advice to help stop my mind racing and thinking the worst and also if anyone has had the same symptoms as me. About 5 months ago l had excruciating hip pain and an episode of bowel incotenence as well as some urinary issues ( hesitancy, frequency and difficulty emptying my bladder, l had had this for several months already and had several courses of antibiotics because l thought l might have a uti). I was admitted to hospital for suspected spinal issues but got discharged a few days later.
my hip pain and bowel issues improved but haven't gone away altogether and my urinary issues have got worse. Around that time my periods also stopped. I went to the doctors about a month ago about my periods and was tested to see if l was in menopause (I'm 41) the test came back negative, not in menopause and l was advised by gp that it may just be stress from Covid and to watch and wait.
Also around this time however l had started to notice l was getting very bloated and for the past month my abdomen has increased in size dramatically. None of my clothes fit and l look quite heavily pregnant. I have a heavy dragging feeling in my tummy and a dull ache in my lower back and lower abdomen particularly on the left side. I have also had sporadic sharp pains that feel like someone stabbing a knife into me. I have crazy thirst that l can't seem to satisfy and no appetite but when l do eat l can only eat small amounts without feeling very uncomfortable and unwell. I have broken out in acne and I have never had acne in my life and yesterday l had a little bit of discharge with blood in it. I'm exhausted all the time and slept for 16 hours one day (apart from going to the toilet)
my gp took bloods for a ca125 on Thursday so should get results on Monday and depending on that will either get fast track scan or will have to wait a while for one.
I'm really worried and don't know how I'll get through the next few days waiting for the results. Has anyone had similar symptoms to me?
