Suspected Hodgkins Lymphoma - Urgent Referral

Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm ok to post this here, I'm 24 years old at the end of the month, I'm a mom to a beautiful 2 year old and healthy as can be.
After starting to feel really poorly for long periods of time, with loads of other symptoms I visited my GP and after lots of drs appointments and tests, my GP has sent an urgent referral through to the haematology clinic for suspected Lymphoma.

I'm shocked, I'm heartbroken, I'm absolutely terrified and just don't who to talk to or what to even say.

I know this probably won't have much response, but is anyone else going through the same sorta thing?!

Well thanks for reading if you did x

  • Hi yes I am, I'm 29 with 2 children 14 months ago I found a really big lump out of no where on the left side under my jaw bone. I was transferred for an ultra sound and found out it was benign good news! Then October 2020 I found one in my left breast again transfer to a breast clinic and again ultra sound said non suspicious so I left it. In January the originally lump started to get bigger and feel tight around my vocal cord whilst feeling it came across another lump then another and another by this point the one in the left breast was still there. I've had another ultrasound with ent that has cleared me for throat or neck cancer but my esr and cpr blood result has come back as abnormal but my cbc is absolutely fine. I'm now having a hematology app on Tuesday as doctor is expecting lymphoma I'm absolutely terrified.  I now have lumps in throat behind the neck under arm breast and groin. Xx

  • Hello!

thank you so much for replying to me! I have a lump in my breast and in my neck just under the jaw!
the fatigue has been one of the worst things I've ever had to deal with... I'm not really sure what to think anymore, I honestly thought he had no chance of being cancer.
I have mine Wednesday and I just feel though I'm carrying the weight of the world

i hope Tuesday brings you good news

    xx
