Lump under chin

Hi all,

i had a doctors appointment today for a lump that is just under my chin, it is rock solid and you can't move it, the doctor has refered me to head and neck which they would contact me within 2 weeks. I am just wondering if anybody else has had something similar and what the outcome was? I'm worried sick as my mum and grandma both passed away of cancer 3 weeks apart! I don't even know what head and neck is! Any info would be appreciated x

    Hi Bethan, sounds almost identical to my symptoms. Found lump under my chin to the front, because I had Nonhodgkins Lumphoma 21 years ago, they took me seriously and sending me within two weeks for further tests and took blood. Let’s hope good for both of us

    Thank you for the reply, it's so scary, the doctors phoned me today to book me in. What happened at your first appointment, do they do a biopsy there and then or will I get booked in again?? Sorry to hear this, sending my love! I am only 25 so panicking a little like we all do!! Sorry for all the questions!

    my lump is at the front of my chin also and rock solid!
